Rewild the Child
Forest School
The RtC Forest School Programme makes it possible for individual children to join others from local schools and take part in a unique Forest School programme. Schools can book individual places for specific children; ideal for children needing support with social, emotional and mental health needs or those with Educational Health and Care Plans.
The RtC Forest School Programme follows the core principles as set out by the Forest School Association. Participants can expect to experience a full-fat Forest School programme that is packed with child-led child-centred learning.
The RtC programme is delivered throughout the year no matter the weather with full-day sessions held twice a half-term. Full-day sessions run from 10 am until 2:30 pm.
Programmes are Led by John, our qualified Forest School Leader who is also a qualified teacher and trained as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA). John will be supported by an experienced and trained assistant to ensure children are kept safe and learning opportunities are maximised.
